At the age of 33, every day, at 3:30 p.m., the performer dressed like Jesus and took photographs wherever she was. The apparitions took place over 365 days, between 06/28/2012 and 06/27/2013, with residence in the city of Salvador, Brazil, and transits through other Brazilian cities.
Different situations, places, people, and contexts intersected throughout the performative program, which counted on the collaboration of friends, photographers, artists, university partners, family members, and strangers with whom Jesus met along the way.
Currently, the archive of images and narrations constitutes the body of the artist's thesis developed in the Performing Arts Graduate Program at UFRJ under the advice of Eleonora Fabião. The expected completion date is 2027, with the subsequent publication of the book Gospel According to Ricarda: Jesus updates by the paths of performance (provisional title).
