Insisting on the repetition of a sequence of displacements and changes of direction on the diagonals of a square, the dance work unfolds complexities of a simple choreographic structure that gradually evolves into varied drawings and structured improvisation.

The procedural investigation started from studies of the philosophical concept of device by Michel Foucault and Giorgio Agamben, reflecting on disciplinary modes of subject conformation, opposed to modes of individuation - those that allow bodies to become conscious agents, capable of proposing and causing changes in their contexts.

This work is the result of the research carried out by Provisório Corpo Grupo de Dança, an extension project linked to the Dance Course of the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU). Since its formation in 2017, the group has brought together students of Dance and other UFU courses — such as Theater, Visual Arts, Journalism, Mathematics, Literature, and Social Sciences —, as well as city performers not linked to the university, forming a plural collective of experiences and knowledge.
